Single Jersey Fabric
Description
Single Jersey is a weft knit fabric commonly referred to as basic fabric. With just one row of needles, it is knit. The reason why the front and rear faces of this fabric differ from one another is because it has a flat loop structure on one side and a reverse loop structure on the other. On circular knitting machines, this fabric is made into tubes, but it can also be cut and used in open widths. Single jersey fabric can be found in broad widths. This often used material is typically comfortable, elastic, and simple to wear. It is wrinkle resistant to some extent and is simple to iron. This fabric can be used to make clothing that is appropriate for all seasons because it has a wide weight range
